3 Must-have lenses for entry level photographers or photography lovers. One of the most FAQ people will always ask, which lens is suitable for them, which combination can perform well and so on. Well, I have my own suggestions for those newbies in photography. Let’s see…
For Canon users, first on the list of course will be the EF 50mm f/1.8II. It’s an awesome lens for portrait and food photography, and it’s one of the cheapest lens which everyone can get one. It is also a good lens to learn and practice composing pictures. For Nikon users, aha, AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 is the best! Affordable price tag and awesome performance, thumbs up!
2. How about kit lens? Actually I don’t like Canon’s 18-55 I as well as II gen, I prefer users to choose Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 instead of the previous one. For Nikon, DX 18-55mm VR does very well, sharp and light weight, smooth focusing, it’s just nice. If you are going to upgrade for longer focal length, AF-S DX 18-105mm VR can be included on your list.
3. Telephoto lenses, Canon EF-S 55-250mm and Nikon AF-S DX 55-200 VR. These are the best telephoto lenses for entry level photographers, especially light weight and IS / VR performance is nice.
Next post I will suggest the lenses for amateur photographers. Stay tuned! :D
